Compliance

Allowing a person you don’t know to enter your home can be a daunting experience, especially if they’re supporting you with things that you’re no longer able to do yourself. That’s why we have put strict guidelines in place that must be adhered to by all of our caregivers to give you the reassurance that we are consistently providing a safe, effective and responsive service. At Tri State Nursing, we are firmly committed to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, professionalism, and compliance. We’re proud to say our comprehensive compliance and ethics program has been recognized as a model for home healthcare

Comprehensive Training

All of our caregivers complete a rigorous training program including manual handling, first aid, CPR, condition-led care, medication administration, and personal care. As well as completing regular refresher training, we invest in our caregivers and encourage them to enhance their theoretical and practical skills in areas that are of particular interest to them. Training is delivered through webcasts, online courses and instructor-led sessions, all tracked in our learning management system.

Once our caregivers have completed the detailed training program delivered by our in-house instructors, they will work closely with their care manager to ensure they have everything they need in order to deliver the exceptional service expected from a Tri State Nursing caregiver.

Tri State Nursing requires annual distribution of the compliance handbook, which each employee, must receive, acknowledge, review, and attest. All attestation statements are tracked and stored in employee files. We perform a routine review and revision of our policies and procedures to stay aware of internal and external developments. All employees receive updated policies and procedures to review, specifically those that are directly related to job function.
